Carbonxt’s core business is the development and sale of specialized and advanced activate carbon products, including powdered activated carbon (PAC) and activated carbon pellets for the removal of pollutants and toxins in industrial processes. Our products are used in industrial air purification, waste water treatment and other liquid and gas phase markets, primarily for the capture of mercury and Sulphur in order to reduce harmful emissions into the atmosphere, as required by global regulations such as MATS. Carbonxt offers several key competitive advantages including: • Non-brominated products – Carbonxt’s products are non-halogenated thus eliminating corrosion concerns to equipment and plant infrastructure while still providing performance comparable to or better than brominated alternatives. • Industry-leading R&D – The Carbonxt team was specifically built with experts trained in mercury capture, flue gas, and activated carbon. • Partnership with Utilities - Carbonxt has embraced a unique business perspective whereby we consider the purchasers of our products not as “customers” but rather as our “partners.” This speaks to our complete confidence in our R&D team’s ability to provide performance enhancements to our products resulting in lower costs to our partners (either via lower injection rates or product processing efficiencies). • Manufacturing - Carbonxt manufactures all products, including pellets, in the United States.
