About Cardiff Fire Ice Hockey Club

Cardiff Fire play in the British semi-professional ice hockey league, the National Ice Hockey League (NIHL), at the state-of-the-art Vindico Arena in Cardiff Bay. Formed in 2015, the Fire were crowned 2015/16 NIHL 2 South West League Champions and runners up in the Playoff Final. They went on to win the league again the following 2016/17 season for back-to-back championship titles. This time with an undefeated record both on the road and at home in Wales, whilst also reaching the Cup Final and Playoff Semi-Final. In the 2017/18 season, the team were promoted to the second tier of British ice hockey and continue to attract players from all over the world. As we enter our ninth season, we are looking for commercial partners and sponsors to join this growing team, in the fastest indoor team sport on the planet. We have a fantastic group of local and national sponsors that have benefited greatly since being involved with the Fire. They also enjoy some great evenings out at our games with their employees and clients alike. Our aim is to work in partnership with additional local Cardiff business to develop long term relationships and establish close ties within the community.
