People ask me, "Why build the CardMill?" Simple—because nothing like it exists for the everyday trading card collector. As a longtime Magic: The Gathering player and trader, I’ve spent countless hours manually entering cards into online tools just to track my collection, organize trades, and build decks. The process is tedious, and existing high-end scanners are expensive. As a parent, husband, and tech professional, I needed a better solution—so I built one. What started as a DIY project with Raspberry Pi and Lego soon evolved into something bigger: an affordable, efficient way for collectors to inventory their cards without the hassle. CardMill is designed for collectors who want to catalog their collections quickly, without damaging cards or breaking the bank.
