Established on the 8th of February 1979 in Oporto, CARDOSO & MAIA, LDA. main purpose is the trading of car accessories of all brands. After 13 years of great success and due to market development, the company decided to move to Vila do Conde. This decision was supported by three premises: - New and large space for storage. - New product ranges - A very demanding national market Looking for a better approach of the market as well as new markets that were until then out of reach, from 1993 on the company decided to expand the business. Until 1999, thirteen new branches were opened all over the country, mainland and islands. At the same time, all this successful development of the company was followed by an increase of the capital stock to try and consolidate the leading position in the market. In 1999 the headquarters in Vila do Conde, went to an important expansion, the initial space of 4700 m2 turned to approximately 13700 m2. Between 1999 and 2001, the company decided to buy the capital stock of other companies, this way we become CARDOSO & MAIA Group. At present, we have the privileged position in the business, a history and the experience that speaks for us. More and more we try to consolidate the position we already have in the business, so that we can offer services and products of high quality to satisfy the daily needs of our clients. To keep the strategy of development and expansion of trade, in February 2005, we opened a new logistic warehouse in Loures, to provide high quality products to our clients. Our guaranty is our name and history, which we want to promote and write in the future. This is only possible through innovation, high level of investment in human resources and in the quality of our products and services and with the support of our clients.
