About Care for Children (International NGO)
Care For Children’s vision is to see children across the globe moved from institutional care into loving families. We partner with governments to help create a positive alternative to institutional care through local family-based care for disadvantaged children. What We Do: We serve governments to help them place orphans and vulnerable children into local, loving families in their community (fostering and adoption). Where We Work: Care for Children’s flagship project was established in China in 1998. Since then we have launched new projects in Thailand (2012), Vietnam (2017) and Cambodia (2021), and continue to expand with a global vision. Who We Are: Care for Children’s team is made up of child welfare and international development experts, with project support offices in the UK, USA and Hong Kong.
