About Career Stories

Career Stories Consulting specializes in helping people learn how to use their stories to flourish at work. Through exercises and coaching, you learn how to understand your internal story & express a renewed one. Why Stories? Stories are powerful forces in our lives, both the stories we tell ourselves and the stories we tell others. At the base of our professional work is knowing what work we do well at and want, and telling the people who make those decisions exactly why we are the best. We do this through resumes, LinkedIn, networking and interviews. Most people come to us because they are stuck and not getting anywhere in their job search. They don't get why they aren't getting interviews, and if they land an interview, they don't get the offer. We go back to your core story, help you figure out your strategic advantage and how to share that on paper, online and in person. Why Strategy? Knowing your story is one thing, knowing when and how to tell it is another. We'll work together to tailor your resume, craft interview answers and strategize what to say to your network. It's often the little moves that end up making a poor impression. Our team will help you to map out your next steps in a way that feels great to you and gets you results. This project is led by Kerri Twigg and other contract employees who are specialists in stories, resumes, LinkedIn and personal branding. You would enjoy working with us if you: * have worked long-term in a role and are looking to switch jobs (internally or externally), but not sure how to navigate the transition; * are mid to senior career and struggling with making the jump to a higher paying job with more responsibility; * smart, educated (self-taught, experiential or institution), who follow through on plans, challenge themselves, me and the status quo. * care about making an impact
