Carerun is on a mission to help care providers deliver care at home at the point of need. We recruit care workers, consolidate capacity, aggregate care visits and coordinate operations seamlessly. We enable care providers to scale operations easier and faster, and benefit from economies of scale. Care providers often lack the capacity to provide care within the contracted timeframe. And people looking for care, despite their urgent need, often wait weeks or even months to find a care provider who can help. And to recruit somebody takes anywhere between 8 and 12 weeks. So, when hospitals or local authorities turn up the demand, unless you’ve got spare capacity sitting there doing nothing, you cannot react. This is now the single biggest reason for the rising hospital delayed discharge and bed blocking.
