Who is Caresumables? The name is constructed from two words, Care and Consumables; Caresumables. Founded by an industrial designer and psychologist together with a chemical engineer and coach in 2012. Both have experience from development and management within the business of consumables. After several years as entrepreneurs abroad and in business sectors like design, consulting, teaching, coaching and project management they decided to move back to their country of origin. This was a golden opportunity to start a new business and finally develop the idea that had been at the back of their minds for several years. The creation of a new company in the health sector and to start with the design and production of an under the tongue saliva absorption consumable product. They knew from dentists that there was a demand on the market for such a product. What is DryDent? DryDent features DryDent facilitates cementing and filling procedures by keeping the work area dry and preventing unwanted splashes of saliva. DryDent is placed under the tongue directly on top of the sub-mandibular saliva gland’s entrance ducts. DryDent is highly appreciated by patients. In our studies, they did not feel DryDent at all or felt a soothing effect due to reduced swallowing reflexes. Most patients complain about the saliva ejector. It hurts and it is noisy. DryDent can be used as a complement or substitute for a more comfortable patient experience. In our latest survey to Dental teams in the Västra Götaland region in Sweden, 75% answered Yes, to the question whether it simplifies the work if you put a DryDent under the saliva ejector.
