About Caretek Medical Middle East Africa (Pty)
Caretek Medical, part of the CBL Group, is becoming known worldwide for its’ innovative and cost-effective solutions in medical and care environments. Launched in Perth, Western Australia, in 2007 by a group of experienced medical product designers and clinicians, Caretek has grown to include 3 factories in China with, collectively, over one million square feet of production facilities, R & D centres in Australia and China, with 50 engineers involved in product development, and facilities around the world including Hong Kong, South Africa and the UK. Caretek products are designed to meet global IEC standards, as well as conforming to local authorities such as FDA and TGA. Approval standards include CCC, CE and UL and the production facilities are certified to ISO 9001:2000, ISO 13485 (medical) and ISO 14001 (environmental). The factories operate to world class standards utilizing Lean methodology and Six Sigma systems to ensure the highest possible standards of quality, consistency and safety. Process controls, material controls, traceability and documentation are all to world class standards and adopted across all group businesses. After-sales service and education are considered vitally important in making Caretek one of the leaders in care products so has its’ own school and training centre in Guangzhou to qualify students in the use and operation of Caretek equipment, and improving the overall comfort of care patients. Caretek also benefits from its close working relationship with other parts of the CBL Group which include internet of things connectivity technology, general manufacturing, modular buildings and ergonomic office equipment divisions. Caretek has a range covering the entire spectrum of care equipment including medical and surgical, long term care and home care products. Caretek manages to achieve a winning blend of western design and safety standards with economic products to the highest international quality.
