About Cargo Bike Daddy

We are two dads from Ostrava, Tom and Breta. We are enthusiasts interested in urban micromobility and especially (but not only) cargo bikes. It has always been important to us how city environment looks, works and what feelings it evokes in its inhabitants. As parents we feel this even more strongly and because we want our children to grow up in the friendliest possible environment, we have decided to contribute to making Ostrava and other cities as pleasant places to live as possible. Not only for our children, but for all its inhabitants. That's why we founded Cargo Bike Daddy s.r.o., a company whose goal and mission are happier cities and happier people. And cargo bikes are the means by which we want to achieve that. We believe that cargo bikes have the potential to replace a significant portion of car traffic, which is the source of a long list of negative externalities for cities and the environment in general, from noise, air pollution, and health impacts on residents to usability, appearance, and degraded street safety. Cargo bikes are a better alternative: safer, quieter, greener and healthier transport option that can easily replace a large part of car journeys. We believe that more bikes and fewer cars = better cities = happier people. Cargo Bike Daddy is a driver and promoter of transforming cities into better places to live. We popularize cargo bikes, rent them, sell them, repair them, and use them to provide logistics services. We help other companies and individuals make the most of the potential of cargo bikes. Our personal experience with cargo bikes is - they make their owners' lives happier and healthier, they make their surroundings better.
