About CariGuard
CariGuard is a Danish oral care dietary supplement developed from a Danish PhD study in collaboration with Chr. Hansen A/S, part of the Novonesis Group, and the Department of Odontology at the University of Copenhagen. The product will soon launch as an innovative oral tablet suitable for both adults and children (aged 3+). CariGuard contains a unique combination of the two patented probiotic strains, LGG® and L.Casei 431®, and the amino acid L-arginine. L-arginine occurs naturally in saliva and is part of the mouth’s natural environment, while the probiotics are carefully selected with a clear focus on the oral microbiome. The formulation is inspired by natural processes occurring in the oral cavity. CariGuard is intended as a supplement to daily toothbrushing, not as a replacement.
