At Caring for Seniors, we understand that no two people are alike. And no two people’s needs are alike. As such we like to tailor individual plans for each and every one of our clients. Personal Care We take life’s basics for granted until we are unable to perform them. As we age, we start to slow down and we need help with some of the basics. Caring for Seniors caregivers assist with meals, medication reminders, bathing and or dressing. Any items that may have become a challenge for your loved one. We are here to help. Restorative Care As directed by a physiotherapist, we will assist with a customized program. We will ensure proper usage of adaptive devices such as a walker or wheelchair. Provision of mental stimulation through mental aerobics is also an option. Life Enrichment and Recreation Our qualified and trained caregivers are available to help you or your loved one with a variety of activities including positive interaction through companionship, connecting with family and friends, taking walks, reading, sharing family history and stories, outings in the car, as well as accompaniment to events. Respite Care One of the hardest jobs in the world is being the caregiver of a family member. It has also been shown to be one of the most stressful! Our Respite Care service allows you take that break when you need it. Go on a holiday, take a day off from caregiving – we can provide you as much or as little of a break as you need.
