Caris Healthcare delivers care to people with life-limiting illness and their families through a professional team of healthcare workers which include a nurse on call 24-hours a day, seven days a week, and 365 days per year. Patients can reside in their homes, in a nursing facility, or assisted-care facility. The plan of care for each patient and family is individualized according to his or her needs. To meet these needs, Caris Healthcare provides a wide range of services. The word ‘Caris’ comes from an ancient Greek word meaning ‘grace’. The last days of life are a sacred time, and we feel strongly that grace should be provided when and where it is needed most. Caris believes in providing compassionate care to each and every patient that we serve. Since Caris was founded in 2003, we have touched more than 20,500 lives.
