Carlo Sessa S.p.A. was established in 1909 and successively transformed in a joint-stock Company in 1973. Our office, laboratory and warehouse are located in Sesto San Giovanni – 6 km North of Milan – and can be easily reached through underground, railway and motorway system. Taking advantage of its long experience, the company has developed and promoted 5 main lines of business: - Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients - Medicinal and Aromatic Plants, Extracts, Teas, Spices and Essential oil - Bee products and derivatives - Food Supplements and Nutraceuticals - Cosmetic Functional Ingredients The company also represents several qualified Italian and foreign companies and import/export their products all over the world, selling to the most important pharmaceutical, food and cosmetic Italian companies, as well as to some major European customers. All products are supplied with certificate of analysis in accordance with the Pharmacopoeias, the GMP and GAP, GOAP guidelines or customers' specifications. Our distribution activity in the pharmaceutical field has been authorized by AIFA (Italian Medicines Agency) for the import of Active Pharmaceutical ingredients, local authorities and Ministry of Health for controlled substances.
