About Carmarthenshire Tourism Association

The Carmarthenshire Tourism Association (CTA) has the sole aim of supporting and developing tourism in Carmarthenshire, South West Wales - with a clear focus to provide high quality and relevant business support to the County's tourism and hospitality trade. As the only county-wide tourism association for Carmarthenshire, we play a vital role in grass-roots trade engagement, communication and support. Established in 1996 by a small group of local tourism business owners - today, we have some 250 members from businesses from all types and sizes, and involved in the County's visitor economy. An independent, not-for-profit company limited by guarantee - The CTA has a small employed team, together with the extended team of voluntary directors elected from our membership base - making the CTA an organisation which is 'led by the trade, for the trade'.
