About Carolina BioOncology Institute
Carolina BioOncology Institute (CBOI), is a cancer therapy and research center that focuses on early phase immunotherapy trials. Our community-based clinic in Huntersville, NC is the only independent, dedicated Phase I cancer center on the East Coast. CBOI has opened more than 100 early phase clinical trials, has treated almost 4,000 cancer patients, and serves as a regional referral hub for Phase I access in the community setting. CBOI's business model, includes BioCytics, our internal research and manufacturing organization. It is focused on rapidly and efficiently developing cell therapies using novel processes and unique equipment. We benefit from our fully-integrated capabilities, including basic and translational research, process development, cGMP manufacturing, clinical development, regulatory affairs, USP, CLIA/COLA and operations.
