Caroline Chisholm Catholic College is dedicated to learning excellence in a faith-filled, engaged and supportive environment. Located in Melbourne’s inner western corridor, the College is an inclusive, multicultural, multi-faith learning community serving over 1550 students in Years 7 – 12 across three campuses on two sites in Churchill Avenue, Braybrook. We offer staff a collaborative environment, a culture of ongoing professional learning, high quality facilities (including a gym and indoor pool), easy access to public transport and a positive and settled classroom atmosphere that enables effective learning. Students are encouraged to be the best they are called to be, striving for excellence inside and outside the classroom. The College teaches a wide variety of subjects including university units for senior students and over 50 VCE subjects, and offers a number of extra-curricular opportunities including international exchange. We also offer VCE-VM and VET subjects, testament to our commitment to catering for varied interests and talents. We have strong and improving NAPLAN and ATAR results, particularly in science, technology and mathematics (STEM subjects) – about 95 per cent of our Year 12 go to university after graduation. We advocate for all students to be known, engaged and inspired by their teachers and peers. Our personalised learning approach allows students to develop and advocate for their own learning style, and encourages teachers to tailor their approach accordingly. The College has been accredited by Catholic Education Melbourne as a Performance & Development Culture and a Restorative Practices School.
