About Caroline's Cleaning Service

I am a professional domestic cleaner with a passion to grow my business. A bit about me: I previously worked in a school as a cleaner for 4 hours per day (2 hours morning and 2 hours after school). I also cleaned a Building Society in the evenings for several months. Eventually I decided that I would have far more control over my life, and could benefit my family better if I went self employed. I set up my Facebook page on 20th December 2018 and then enjoyed Christmas with my family before actively looking for cleaning work. By early February 2019 I picked up my first 2 domestic clients and then continued to grow my business over the following year to 10 domestic clients and a weekend office clean. Then the world changed when COVID-19 struck and we all went into isolation. Being a fairly new business I have not been entitled to any Government funding during these times but have been fortunate to be able to enjoy life with my husband, 2 teenage daughters and my elderly dog (Sadly Max the dog recently passed away). My husband has been working throughout as he is a Cold Store Manager in a food business so kept us financially stable. I have used my time at home wisely and have been gaining knowledge and certification by training online to improve my understanding and skills of my chosen business and enable me to plan a better future for myself and my family. I am a little person (only 5 ft tall) with a big dream to grow my business from just me to a team of professional cleaners and offer additional services.
