Carpenter & Carpenter Limited was established in 2001. It is led by Andrew Carpenter who is a Furniture Design graduate from Ravensbourne College of Design and Communication and has exhibited in London and New York. Before establishing Carpenter & Carpenter Andrew worked for several contemporary furniture design and manufacturing companies in London and Yacht building companies in the South West. Every craftsman at Carpenter & Carpenter are CRB checked, have received asbestos awareness training and have a valid CSCS card allowing them to work in schools, hospitals and or construction sites. They have full public liability insurance and are proud members of Business Network International. “Within design and manufacturing there has to be a great deal of trust between designer makers, clients and project managers and we have built our business on delivering this simple principle. This has led to high quality custom handmade furniture for corporations, retail outlets, Interior Designers, Architects and discerning private clients. Our involvement in a project generally starts at the design stage, either providing concepts or with the detailed plans being supplied, allowing us to progress straight to the workshop. Our central aim is to provide an accurate and efficient service that allows the client to relax in the knowledge that we will bring high quality hand crafted furniture and bespoke joinery to realisation on time, on budget and with great attention to detail".
