All'inizio del 20° secolo Ford conquista il mondo costruendo la Ford “T” – l'automobile per tutti – e ancora oggi detiene un record irraggiungibile: 10.500 esemplari fabbricati al giorno per un unico modello. Carpoint nasce a Roma nel 1962 e dopo soli quarant’anni, Ford è il marchio più venduto in Italia tra i produttori esteri e secondo assoluto dopo Fiat, con una quota di mercato di quasi il 10%. Nel 1986 cambia la proprietà di Carpoint: la concessionaria viene acquistata dal Sig. Michele Bracco che negli anni rileva anche un’altra concessionaria Ford a Roma: la Caposud, entra nel gruppo Organizzazione Italiana Motori. Nel 2002 Carpoint SpA è la prima concessionaria Ford del continente e la seconda a livello mondiale. Ad aprile 2005 Carpoint SpA viene insignita del titolo di "Concessionario dell'Anno 2005" dai lettori di Quattroruote. Nel 2011 nasce a Roma il 1° Ford Store d'Europa, una struttura di 10.000 metri quadrati per conoscere le ultime novità di prodotto e le imperdibili proposte dell’Usato.
