About Carriage House for Children

Carriage House was founded in 1969. Originally named “The Louisville School for Autistic Children”, we were one of the first schools in the US designed specifically for individuals with autism. Over time, our programming and services have shifted to continue to meet the needs of our community. Today, Carriage House consists of two different programs, the Carriage House Inclusive Preschool and our clinical program, Endeavor. Our Inclusive Preschool provides exemplary early childhood education to children with or without special needs from ages 1 to 6 years. Our Endeavor Program is a clinical Applied Behavior Analysis program. Within this clinical arm, we provide group and individual ABA therapy, both home and center-based through the Michelle P. Waiver
