A women-owned, virtual-first consulting and coaching firm based in Canada and specializing in strategic HR, diversity, equity, inclusion, and wellness. Founder & Principal Carrie Burd has 20+ years of combined corporate and senior leadership experience across multiple sectors, industries, and functions. This has allowed her to build a unique and diverse professional portfolio and gain extensive experience advising executives, coaching leaders, mentoring talent, managing teams, and partnering across functional lines to design and deliver strategies, policies, programs, training and workshops. She holds the Institute for Diversity Certification's industry-recognized and globally renowned Certified Diversity Professional® credential, is a Certified Diversity & Inclusion Recruiter®, trained in the Wellness Improvement System® Method of coaching, is a regulated HR professional, and is a member of the International Coaching Federation. In addition to running her own consultancy, Carrie is a Coach with Niagara Institute, an associate with Leadership Development Canada, a Contributing Writer for Diversity Think Tank and Faces of Workplace Wellness Magazine, a speaker with Global Workplace Wellness Summit, and an Instructional Designer with Interpersonal Wellness Systems Inc.
