About Carrie Steele-Pitts Homes
Chartered in 1888, CSPH’s mission is to maintain a family environment that fosters the physical, educational, social-emotional, and spiritual development of each child. CSPH is a private, nonprofit and non-discriminatory child caring agency that provides community-based child welfare services including supportive education, health & wellness programs and 24-hour, state approved residency for vulnerable youth. The 35 acre campus is located in the Adamsville neighborhood and has an administration building, five cottages where the youth live, a dining room, two outdoor play areas, a meadow for large group/team activities, and a pavilion for cook outs. The 27,155 square foot Ollivette Eugenia Smith Allison Life Learning Center is fully equipped with a five lane/25 yard indoor swimming pool, a gymnasium, a chapel, computer lab, classrooms, a kitchen and multipurpose room. The Carrie Steele – Pitts Home is a place like none other. We invite you to visit us, to share a meal with the children, to listen to their stories, to witness the love and respect for others.
