Carrier Logic offers shippers direct access to contract rate, asset-based truckload capacity. We are not a broker or 3PL. We’ve partnered with a network of regional, asset-based carriers in the 50 - 600 driver size range who want to reduce their reliance on third parties by increasing their direct engagement with the shippers in their service area. We bring to the market specific offers of stable capacity density and availability from our carriers. Where does this capacity come from? Carrier networks are dynamic, and the best carriers are using a data driven approach to making good decisions about what their freight network should look like and where improvements or adjustments need to be made. We work with our carriers to maintain a database of capacity that includes origins and destinations that would fit much better with their network. That information we bring to market as available capacity. Shippers with freight in the desired lanes therefore gain access to high quality capacity with potential for long term stability. Once a shipper match is discovered, we operate in similar manner to a carrier sales rep, obtaining rate quotes, managing the on boarding process, and monitoring service. The carrier directly controls operations, pricing, legal, and billing. We make it our business to be experts in the capabilities and needs of our carriers.
