Our Precious Cotton Deep in the Nile Delta lies a place where natural conditions combine to grow the world’s most opulent cotton. This lush region of fertility and growth, where cooling Mediterranean Sea winds meet Egyptian dessert air, produces perfectly balanced levels of rainfall, heat and humidity to nurture and nourish the finest cotton. This exquisite environment creates rare, exceptionally long, fine threads that are spun to create the most beautifully soft garments. Craftsmanship After 6 months of nourishment and growth in the Nile Delta, Giza Cotton is hand picked in five individual phases. We ensure that only the best plants with the perfect levels of maturity are chosen to create a Carter & White garment. These carefully selected cottons are then delicately spun into the exquisite, soft material used to craft our undershirts.
