About Cary Lane
Cary Lane originally opened in Noe Valley, San Francisco in 2008. We then moved the store to *Hayes Valley in 2010 and expanded with our 2nd location in December 2012 in the Valencia Corridor area and 3rd location in May 2014 in the Inner Sunset. We moved our Hayes Valley location to 1615 Haight Street in September 2019. We've been in the business of building great relationships with coveted brands and are committed to offering only the best deals on threads at up to 80% off the regular retail price. We specialize in carrying samples and past season items from brands all over the world like jackets, tops, dresses, and bottoms to accessories like ties, hats, belts, and shoes for men and women. We also carry home goods like candles, blankets, and soaps. For the ladies, we have an assortment of affordable fashion jewelry. With hundreds of different brands available at our three locations, from well known designers to more independent labels, we hope to have something for everyone. The name Cary Lane is actually the namesake of the founder, Cary Lane LaScala. Cary's experience comes from being the Head Buyer at both a top luxury apparel e-commerce site and a multi-million dollar upscale department store for several years. The loyal following and growth of Cary Lane inspired him to branch off into designing his own private label button-up shirt line for men, Cary LaScala in 2010. The Cary LaScala label is crafted closely to European styles and standards, with a simplistic design, slim fit, and fine tailoring all hand made right here in San Francisco. His private label line focuses on shirts, but also includes pants, bowties, ties, and leather goods such as belts. Cary is also an endorsed professional session drummer who has toured nationally and internationally. He has recorded for Warner Brother records, TVT records, Bright Antenna records to mention a few and is endorsed by Ludwig Drums, Agner Drumsticks & Soultone Cymbals (www.carylascala.com/resume).
