There is a growing number of children in and around this area that are being abused and neglected. Consequently, they may be removed from their current living environment and be placed into the foster care system. This is through no fault of their own. They are innocent victims of abuse and neglect who must rely on the court to decide their future. Many of these children are constantly relocated because they cannot adjust, while others age out of the system and never get the opportunity to experience what we call a real family and a place to call home. Since 2008, CASA of South Louisiana has helped make a difference in the lives of foster children in Acadia, Lafayette, and Vermilion Parishes. That's where YOU come in! We will provide you with the necessary training to advocate for these children. You will make an everlasting positive impact on their lives.
