About Cashion Cultural Legacy home of Los Lupeños de San José

The Cashion Cultural Legacy (CCL) is home to two performing companies; Los Lupeños de San José & Los Lupeños Juvenil as well as well as public education offered through Los Lupeños Academy. Our dance projects include an Artist Exchange between California & Mexico and a nascent Publications venture. The pride of San José, Los Lupeños was founded in 1969 by Ramón Morones and Susan Cashion. It’s the oldest continuously operating organized dance company in San José having entertained and educated the public with traditional Mexican folk dance for over five decades. Our Mission Sustain the preservation, presentation, and education of Mexican folk culture through dance. Our Vision Universal recognition and appreciation of the Mexican folklórico genre. Our Values – Artistry, Education, Performance We believe in the deep-rooted yet constantly evolving ARTISTRY of the traditional folklórico genre.
