About CASR - Center of Aviation and Space Research
CASR, established in 2016 at the Czech Technical University in Prague, is the research centre for aerospace technologies, especially for testing aircraft engines. CASR offers access to four ground test facilities, including the necessary expertise and know-how to industrial companies. As a university training center, CASR offers Masters and PhD level training in the field of aircraft engines engineering. Students enrolled in the programmes have a unique opportunity to work closely with professionals in the aerospace industry and to participate in engine testing and related research and development activities. CASR research expertise and other services include: • Noise pollution reduction • Emission reduction • EMA – Matlab, Comsol • CFD – Ansys, Comsol CASR offers tailored training the following areas: • Model simulations design and set up • Experimental data analysis • FEM – Ansys, Abaques, Comsol • Thermodynamics – NPSS, GasTurb, GAMMA, Matlab • Dynamic engine models configuration • Analysis of temperature deformations and rotor systems • Design of control algorithms CASR is also a training center for Masters level and PhD level training in the field of aircraft engines engineering.
