It is the most representative reality within the denomination “Chianti Montespertoli DOCG” Innovation and tradition are the fundamentals of our philosophy with which we produce our multi-award-winning wine, Vinsanto and Olive oil. Castello Sonnino has been owned by the family de Renzis Sonnino for generations. The Villa of the sixteenth century is part of the Dimore Storiche Italiane and Case della Memoria Associations.It keeps in its interior an important Historical Archive of the first World War. Castello Sonnino “embodies the essence of Italian Culture” to Gucci. We have taken part of the Gucci Places project since 2017 as the Maison consider us one the most emblematic and inspiring places. At Castello Sonnino we organize lessons on Sustainability and italian Culture to university students coming from all over the world. “LIVING HISTORY TO SUSTAIN THE FUTURE” We arrange Tours of the Estate throughout the year. They include the Farm, the Historical Wine Cellars, the famous Vinsantaia of the sixteenth century and the Orciaia. In addition to this, we show also the thirteenth-century Tower and the Courtyard of the Castle. Tours can be personalized. In our Enoteca we organize wine tastings, lunches and events for which we use farm to table products from our garden.
