About Castro Country Club

The Castro Country Club is a safe and sober community center for all people and a refuge for the LGBTQ recovery community. We provide programs and services that help people change their lives by supporting personal growth. Our Vision is to reduce the suffering of addiction by connecting people to community, opportunity, and support. Located in the heart of San Francisco's Castro District since 1983, The CCC is self-supporting and governed by our Advisory Board, with a budget of nearly $600,000. The space hosts 40+ meetings a week and a wide range of events and activities, with funding support from grants, café revenue, merchandise sales, fundraisers, meeting space rental revenue, sales of fine art, and over 100 monthly community donors. We value sustainability by securing diverse funding sources with integrity and transparency for consistent, long-term viability.
