About Catapult Leadership Society

Catapult's mission is to cultivate new leaders who will make a positive impact in communities across Nova Scotia. We focus on students with natural leadership skills but whose life circumstances may create barriers to achieving their potential. Our vision is to inspire, inform and connect our students so they reach their full potential. Catapult provides a fun, high energy learning experience focused on enhancing leadership skills just prior to starting Grade 10. Campers learn problem solving techniques, decision making skills and the benefits of effective teamwork. The program is a combination of inspiring presentations and exciting adventure activities set in an atmosphere of fun and friendship. Following camp, students can elect to join our Catapult Plus extended program throughout high school to further enhance their leadership talents and prepare for post-secondary planning. Catapult is a registered charitable organization fully funded by corporate donors. Registration, accommodation, meals and even transportation are provided at no cost to the student or school.
