About Catholic Education Foundation of Louisville
For over 200 years, Catholic schools have contributed significantly to the social, spiritual, and economic fabric of our entire community. Founded in 1995, the Catholic Education Foundation is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization dedicated to the growth and vitality of Catholic education in the Archdiocese of Louisville. The Foundation provides grants in support of four pillars of Catholic education: 1. Tuition assistance for families 2. Religious education for parishes and schools 3. Professional development for educators and catechists 4. Technology enhancements for parishes and schools Since 1999, the Foundation has awarded over $46 million in support of Catholic education. For the 2021/2022 school year, the Foundation and its funding partners awarded tuition assistance to an all-time high of 3,400 Catholic elementary students across central Kentucky with record funding of $7 million. Our Vision – Every family has access to a Catholic education. Our Mission – To promote the growth and vitality of Catholic education in the Archdiocese of Louisville.
