Cavallo Winery Ltd. was established in 2014 based on a vision to produce wonderful “Cult” style wines using the finest Napa Valley grapes. Our winemaker has been masterfully developing & refining wines for over 30 years, and is regarded as one of North America’s premier winemakers. 2018 will see production of 12,500 cases, including Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Pinot Noir, and three flagship blends: a Meritage, a Super Rhone called “Asylum”, and a Sangiovese. We will also be offering a Napa style Chardonnay and a white blend called “Speranza”, made from Muscat and unoaked Chardonnay. Our grapes are sourced from California’s two top vineyards, Beckstoffer and Stagecoach, as well as select British Columbia and Washington State vineyards. The grapes are imported duty-free, but the wines are produced and cellared locally, creating an opportunity to enjoy BC wines that handily compete with the finest full-bodied ones from south of the border. No other winery in Canada focuses exclusively on ultra-premium Napa Valley viniferous varietals, and doing so differentiates us from our competitors. We strive to honour the grape growers, and our goal is to be the world’s first international winery, creating the finest wines available. According to those who have had the pleasure of a tasting, we are right on track! Our state-of-the-art winery, located in South Surrey, BC, will soon be open for tours and tastings.
