Founded in 1992, Hitrac Engineering Group is a leading Italian company in the design, construction, management and maintenance of turnkey solutions for critical infrastructures. Reference player of large international groups, it offers turnkey electromechanical solutions including electrical power supply systems, cooling systems, security/surveillance systems, structured cabling, switching centers, energy plants, industrial plants and military sites plants and, above all, data centers (through the HITRAC DataSpace division). Hitrac – that operates also through different subsidiaries – owns both the technical skills and the functional requirements and standards needed to operate in sectors as defence and security, IT, telco, energy, finance and heavy industry as well as to “special projects” in both private and public contexts. In the past thirty years, it has operated in over 50 countries, in consolidated partnerships with both national and international players. Hitrac is an Italian excellence operating in a strategic sector, among the first at national level in terms of certifications and highest security clearances. The company's 2017-2020 CAGR was over 20%, with a consolidated turnover in FY 2020 of €45 million and an acquired order backlog of over €90 million. Hitrac employs about 300 people between its headquarters in Rome and its operating offices in Milan, Bologna, Florence, Ivrea (Turin), Udine, as well as its foreign bases in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, French Guiana and South Africa.
