About CBRNe Society

The CBRNe Society is an international non-profit organization. The purpose of the foundation is to serve as the nucleus of the global CBRNe community by developing and sharing knowledge, promoting innovation and building bridges between relevant governmental, military, industrial and scientific stakeholders. Through the Foundation, these stakeholders are given the opportunity to share knowledge, expertise, and form partnerships to strengthen resilience against CBRNe threats. With the support of its expert contributors across the world, the experienced CBRNe Society team organizes the NCT event and the NCT nXt workshop series, thereby offering platforms for the CBRNe community to convene and share the latest solutions and developments, lessons learned and best practices in the industry of CBRNe. The expertise of the Society’s experts and their good relations to the industry guarantee that the CBRNe Society concepts incorporate state-of-the-art technology. Through mutually beneficial cooperation the CBRNe Society enjoys excellent relations to governments allowing it to always draw on the latest governmental guidelines in developing tomorrow’s response capabilities. The functionality of its dissemination activities ensures interoperability and universal applicability. The CBRNe Society was established in 2017 by its president Ilja M. Bonsen to separate the not-for-profit activities of IB Consultancy and place them in a new and separate entity: the CBRNe Society. The Society works closely with IB Consultancy which remains responsible for the logistics of NCT events and the commercial exposition at the different events.
