We are Chartered Accountants, Registered Auditors and Business Advisors. We aspire to be THE firm that business owners choose in Shropshire and THE firm that professionals in Shropshire want to work for. We believe in the importance of AVAILABILITY and AFFABILITY as well as just ABILITY: that is having more than just the required technical competence and experience to give you confidence that your chosen firm is able to deliver. Our culture is informal, but we remain professional. We see CBSL as a firm that thinks differently: we sit at a juxtaposition of modern and traditional, taking what we think are the best of both and our values reflect this: Our existence: we exist to advise wealthy Shropshire families. We prefer to serve a small number of families and their businesses. This requires us to have to have fewer, but instead, highly qualified, experienced and mature staff, who all understand the needs of our clients; Discretion: given the nature of our clients, absolute discretion is essential. Naturally our Institute's professional ethics demand this, but unfortunately not all firms practise it. This insistence on discretion gives us an anonymity that our clients appreciate; Simplicity: tax and accountancy can be complex. We believe that our role is to deal with the complexity, so that you do not have to. Our communication is simple, clear and precise. Family centric: Our Managing Director is passionate about his family, and so too is passionate about the families of all our team members.
