CDS is active as an importer and distributor mainly in the area of vehicle accesories and mobile electronics/car audio/home audio . CDS stands as en entity on 3 independent, but collaborating, business areas: * Retail * OE * Automotive * Retail Most products are imported directly from manufacturers in the Far East and marketed in Sweden under several proprietary brands. Customers are chain group or local retailers and wholesalers. Apart from CDS own imports the company also operates a number of exclusive agencies for Sweden. * OE We also protectively work with various OE- Manufacturers of vehicles, mainly the heavy vehicle industry, such as mining machines, forest machines, heavy lift trucks, military vessels (land/sea), agriculture vehicles and trailers (both PV/LV). In that range we help sourcing and supply of electrical products, wiper systems, rear view mirrors and lighting, among other things - always keeping lead time and cost to a minimum for the client. * Automotive As of late 2010 a new area of business opened up for CDS with the possibility to supply both the independet AM and OE spare parts, auto accessories and much more. This business is steadily increasing to become an even bigger part of CDS turnover. The CDS company started it’s business already in 1980 in Stockholm, but soon relocated to Skara. As of May 2010 we are situated in Kungälv in the Gothenburg area, with both warehousing operations, office and administration.
