Rick Michaels founded CEA Group ("CEA") in 1973 to serve the cable industry clients requiring financial expertise. As the Chairman & CEO, he has lead the firm throughout the past 52 years into a successful full service international brokerage and financial services firm. Since its founding, CEA expanded and focused on Media, Entertainment, Telecom and Technology sectors and has also represented additional industries. As an affiliate of CEA, AAP manages a series of private equity funds with approximately $350 million in investment capital focused on helping foreign nationals obtain permanent residency in the United States through the EB-5 Investor Visa Program. AAP invests in job-related to real estate projects, such as hotels, assisted living, resident housing, and large multi-family projects. AAP also manages Campus Life Fund II, a non EB-5 real estate investment fund focused on student housing. Rick Michaels is the co-founder of the National Cyber Partnership (NCP) and the National Cyber Institute (NCI), both non-profit entities focused on education, training, certification, clearances, and research. The University of South Florida is a co-founder of NCI. He is also co-founder of CyberStratos, LLC., a recently formed company to provide advisory and consulting services to Cyber companies.
