About Ceartas Advocacy

Ceartas Advocacy provides Independent Advocacy to adults (ages 16 and over) in East Dunbartonshire. We prioritise working with certain groups: older people; dementia; mental health; physical disability; learning disability; acquired brain injury; sensory impairment; and additional communication needs. Ceartas also facilitates social and support groups for some of our service user groups, and we work in partnership with other local and national agencies to provide information and support to our core service user groups in East Dunbartonshire. Ceartas Advocacy is a charity and a membership organisation. Anyone who is involved or interested in the work of Ceartas can become a member. Ceartas is an 'Investor In People', a 'Positive about Disabled People' (Two Ticks Award) employer, and signatories of the 'See Me Pledge'. We have just achieved the Bronze 'Healthy Working Lives' award and EFQM 'Committed to Excellence' award.
