About Cecily's Fund
For 25 years Cecily's Fund has been making a life free from poverty possible for vulnerable children in Zambia. We tackle poverty and inequality for poor communities in Lusaka, Kitwe and Luansobe, working with them to champion the value of school, and through life-changing financial and emotional support that helps children complete their education so that they can create a new future for themselves. Using education to break the cycle of poverty Cecily’s Fund is an international development NGO founded in the UK in 1998 supporting the most vulnerable children. Together with our Zambian partners we develop sustainable interventions that lessen dependency, strengthen communities and improve livelihoods for the most vulnerable children and their families. Our programmes help children to succeed, and to prepare for a better future in adulthood. We are working with communities to help make them stronger, more resilient, and more able to support the next generation.
