This results in peace of mind for families. -- Our Vision Cedarhurst Dementia Care Home provides an alternative to conventional retirement homes and nursing homes. We provide a social model of care which builds on residual strengths and encourages maximum choice and independence for the residents. Our unique accommodations provide an intimate, homelike setting, and foster a family like atmosphere for our residents, families and staff. The normal activities of daily living form the basis for programming. Families are an important part of Cedarhurst Dementia Care Home. We recognize the needs of each family, consult them regularly, and encourage them to participate in the development of the care plan for the resident.
