About CEIEC Research Institute. Universidad Francisco de Vitoria - UFV

CEIEC's mission is to use ICT to promote the transformation of society through innovative projects and initiatives aimed, on the one hand, to improve people's quality of life and, on the other, to educate and raise awareness about the situation and Problems of the less favored social groups, becoming aware of our own reality and that of those around us. These activities are carried out alone or in collaboration with other academic or business entities. Currently, CEIEC maintains four lines of work in key areas for the development of society and the well-being of groups at risk of exclusion so that they may have the same opportunities as other citizens: - Serious Games: Game design and development of multiplatform non-ludic video games (on Unity 3D) for the improvement of learning processes, the integration of excluded groups or cultural dissemination to people with cognitive disabilities using gamification principles. - Neural Networks: Development of models for autonomous decision making using Deep Learning and Machine Learning techniques to process and detect patterns in large amounts of data. - AiHealth: Use of Artificial Intelligence techniques for the analysis (clustering, classification and prediction) of complex medical data and the relationships between diagnostic or treatment techniques and patient outcomes. - AI Philosophy: (in collaboration with the Faculty of Humanities) Interdisciplinary research to address the study of a plausible scenario of the development of Neurosciences and IA and their influence on man and society in the immediate future (Onlife and Human Brain Project EC initiatives).
