About Celbi

An ALTRI company since 2006, Celbi produces a high quality short fibre pulp from eucalyptus globulus. The properties of the fibres of this species give Celbi’s pulp special characteristics that make it particularly suitable for very specific types of paper and cardboard. The brand Celbi PP is recognised by the market for its top quality, particularly in what concerns low level of dirt, bleaching and consistency of its physical, chemical and paper properties and characteristics. When compared with other competing pulps produced from other species of eucalyptus, Celbi’s pulp stands out for its resistance, good opacity and high porosity. These characteristics make it just right for the production of fine printing papers, laminated decorative papers and paper or cardboard primed for high quality printing. In 2014, Celbi produced almost 700,000 tonnes of pulp. With 50 years of activity in Portugal, Celbi keeps loyal to its vision: to be the best European producer of short fibre pulp.
