Cementra is one of the key manufacturers and suppliers of high quality cement and clinker in Jordan and the Region. The company forms a vital platform in the industry; and it was originally founded to meet the growing demand for cement in the Jordanian market following the development boom that accompanied the construction industry in various areas across the Kingdom. Having supplied a number of construction projects in the country, Cementra proved to be the industry leader in terms of quality, profitability and efficiency. Strategically established and located in the governorate of Mafraq, Cementra Plant prides itself on utilizing the latest machinery and state-of-the-art technologies to provide customers quality cement according to the highest international standards. The Plant has a single kiln line with a clinker capacity of 6000 tpd. The main plant contractor was CNBM of China where all the plant’s equipment were supplied by renowned European companies such as IKN, Geber Peffifer, HSB, CMD and others of the same caliber. Currently holding a significant share of the Jordanian market, Cementra today became Jordan’s and the Region’s most trusted cement companies and the ‘number one’ choice for contractors and end-users who rely on the constancy and quality of its products.
