A decision was taken to invest in Kraft Paper as opposed to Polypropylene Sacks due to the ‘Environmental Sustainability Business Value’ of the investors. The facility is located on a five-acre property, in a 50,000 square foot development in Ruaraka (Nairobi). Boasting the Rolls-Royce of equipment, Windmöller & Hölscher, the plant is capable of manufacturing 36 million cement sacks or 14.4 million tea sacks per annum. Vision: ‘Cempack Solutions Limited aims to double its market share by committing itself to providing a dedicated customer service team, by focusing on long-term cost-savings along the value chain, and by engaging in long term environmental sustainability.’
