About Center DC
Center DC is a community organization that seeks to meet the spiritual, social, and educational needs of Muslims living, working and playing in the DC metro-accessible area. In short, we exist to people connect with their faith, their city, and each other! We do this by providing community space and gatherings where individuals can feel comfortable to learn about Islam, connect with a supportive community, and to navigate their faith-based identity and its application to their daily life. Our vision is that everyone practicing or exploring Islam in the District have access to welcoming community and faith-based programming that is applicable and relevant to their social & spiritual lives and that Muslims are seen as valued and present contributors to the culture of Washington DC.
