About Center for Community Research, Inc
The Center for Community Research (CCR) is a San Diego based non-profit organization dedicated to empowering individuals, community-based organizations and government agencies in achieving their intended outcomes. CCR partners with communities to implement and identify strategies that work. We are committed to enhancing public safety through data-driven strategies and research-based solutions. CCR has been recognized outside of the San Diego region for our initiatives including the Substance Use and Overdose Prevention Task Force (SUOPT), Cannabis Public Health Initiative (CPHI), Evaluation Services and Countywide Media Advocacy (CWMA). Our staff are members of the SAMHSA Region 9 Prevention Technology Transfer Center (PTTC) contributing to prevention initiatives on a statewide and national level. Additionally, we are a part of the University of California, San Diego (UCSD), Adolescent Brain Cognitive Development (ABCD) Liaison Board where we provide feedback for the ongoing research study. We provide support for the San Diego Red Ribbon Award Ceremony and Luncheon.
