About Center for Developmental Services
The Center for Developmental Services (CDS) is not just a place where families can come to receive multiple developmental services and support under one roof. We are a collaboration that benefits everyone – the partner agencies, the staff in the facility, the families we serve, and the community at large. CDS is a connected network of providers, partners, and families who share a common purpose to support children and individuals with developmental needs. The CDS partner agencies (Clarity: the speech, hearing and learning center; Prisma Health - Upstate Children’s Hospital; KidVentures of Thrive Upstate; and a Medical-Legal Partnership) collectively serve more than 8,000 children and families each year. CDS serves children from all over the upstate of South Carolina. It is the only center of its kind in the nation. Our mission is to make caring for children with delays and disabilities easier and more effective by linking medical and support services in a single location.
