About Center for High Technology Development

Management of Technology Testing Zones, R&D Zones under Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (VAST) and organization of activities for technical assistance, incubation, reseach and deployment of High technologies. DUTIES: a) To manage, exploit, organize activities for development of infrastructure of Technology Zones under Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology; b) To organize activities for research, incubation, technology improvement and deployment. To support the activities for pilot production, technology testing and deploying of institutions at Technology Zones; c) To research, design and manufacture science -technology equipments and other technology products; to perform material tests for research and high technology deployment; d) To perform promotion and communication on technologies; e) To perform services, consultancy and science – technology development, cooperation on science and technology application as stipulated by the State and the Academy; f) To assist to President of the Academy on technology examination or participation in the same at the Technology Zones ; g) To participate in training of highly qualified technical, technological personnels on advanced directions of technologies to be deployed at Technology Zones; h) To perform International cooperation on science and technology research and deployment as stipulated by the State and the Academy; i) To administ organization, personel structure; to manage and employ the cadres, officials and employees as stipulated by the State and the Academy; k) To manage finance, assets of the Centre under the provisions of the State; l) To perform other missions handed by President of the Academy.
